You are probably thinking there must be some typo with the headline. How can you get a nice hotel room for $35 a night? The answer is Priority Club "point breaks". I have mentioned this before (see the July 20, 2012 blog) but the new list just came out so if you have Priority Club points, (e.g., Holiday Inn, Intercontiental, Crowne Plaza, etc.) this is a great way to get a hotel room for 5,000 points which translates into a price of $35 a night. Priority Club hotels normally start at 20,000 a night. These hotels are an especially great deal when traveling internationally.
Click here to see the entire list of hotels available for 5,000 points. This list expires January 31, 2013. Last time I got a nice suite at the Holiday Inn when I was in South Carolina. The best deal is when you can stay at an Intercontinental hotel for 5,000 points.
