Free National Park Entry This Weekend

FREE is one of my favorite words.  To celebrate its centennial, the National Park Service is waiving its entrance fees from Thursday, 8/25 through Sunday, 8/28. Enjoy the weekend.

Help Louisiana Flood Victims And Earn United Airline Miles

I just received the below email today from United Airlines.

Donate $50–$99 and earn 250 bonus miles

Donate $100–$249 and earn 500 bonus miles

Donate $250 or more and earn 1,000 bonus miles

Free National Park Days

The National Park service turns 100 in 2016, and in honor of its centennial, national parks that charge entrance fees will be fee-free on 16 days.  Those days include April 16 through April 24 for National Park Week. For the full list of fee-free days click here.
