I am excited!! Maria and I have been accepted for the Global Scavenger Hunt (GSH). We leave on April 12th from the West coast and arrive back in the United States on May 4th on the East Coast (of course we don't know where). The winners of the GSH get to return the following year for FREE to try and reclaim the championship. Teams come from all over the world to participate. Twenty percent of the people who are on the GSH have been past participants. The oldest participant was 74 and the youngest 13.
A packet is going to be mailed out to us with more information so I will try and keep everyone up to date on our travel adventure.
As a side note, while at the travel show I picked up a 5% discount code (TAS130287) for All Nippon Airways (ANA) for travel to Japan or Asia. This code is good for up to five people. Tickets must be purchased by July 31, 2013. Just throwing this out there in case anyone wants to go pick up my favorite Royce chocolate. ANA is part of the Star Alliance so you can earn miles with United Airlines.
