Another cash back site is Mr. Rebates . This one was not mentioned in class but you will see it as an option if you start with Evreward. Sign up and compare Ebates to Mr. Rebates for which online shopping will give you the best return.

Travel Seminar April 14th, 2015 in the Portland, Oregon Area

Small Business Saturday Means Free Money

While this blog may not be about travel today it is about saving money.  I love Small Business Saturday even more than I love Black Friday.  If you have never heard of Small Business Saturday it began in 2010.   At that time American Express founded Small Business Saturday to help businesses get more customers. The day encourages people to shop at small business on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  This year, the big day is November 29th.  It is designed to help those mom and pop businesses.

If you have an American Express issued card you are eligible to participate in Small Business Saturday.  If your spouse is a co-signer and you have separate cards you both can earn free money.  I just signed up using my Costco American Express card.

Click on this link and learn how you can earn up to $30 per American Express Card.  All you have to do is spend $10 to earn a $10 statement credit and you can do this three separate times. Sign-ups are limited so don't delay!

How Long Would You Wait on the Phone on Hold to Earn Airline Miles?

Would you wait one hour on hold to earn miles?  If you don't have unlimited cell phone minutes this deal is definitely not for you. But, if you are the type to earn miles any way you can, here is a chance to earn 7500 American Airline miles. Just remember trying to make a reservation is going to be time consuming.  Know the name of the dealer you want to go to and the type of car you want to test drive.
